| This was a rather odd receiver, with a very unconventional layout.
Despite that I liked this set: it was easy to carry around, had enough
bells and whistles to keep one happy and a good sound quality. The two
major shortcomings were the high noise level of the receiver and the notch,
which was audio - not IF - based. I eventually had to sell this one off
too, because of limited finances and my stays in China and Taiwan. If I
had some cash to spare I would buy another one, just for the memories.
I bought a simple, but great portable - the Panasonic
RF-B65L - which I still have and use on a daily basis. |
