Because of bad experience with Sony products I wanted to buy something
else to take travelling, and so I bought the Panasonic. Rich audio, a tuning
wheel (a radio without one isn't a radio) and continuous coverage from
150 kHz to 30 MHz. This was my main receiver from 1990 till 1997 when I
bought the JRC NRD-525, but boy did I hear a lot of DX with this set. Take
a look in my multi-media logbook and
you will find out. I still use this radio on a daily base - mainly to listen
to the BBC and various Chinese stations. |
